How can I use zip / postal codes?
Every zip code is associated with a particular geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude). Using these coordinates you can calculate a distance between 2 postal codes. Another possibility of postal code use is search for postal codes lying in a particular distance from a certain location. If your records contain additional information (like state, city or street address) it extends the functionality. In that case you can look for example for fitness centers or schools in your district.
